Birth Centers
CHRISTUS Schumpert offers delivery suites with a comfortable blend of warmth and modern obstetrical care. Here you are assured of complete privacy and comfort in a fully functional perinatal unit with labor, delivery, recovery and mother/baby care.
Our program is staffed by specially trained perinatal nurses. The birthing centers found in all three of our hospitals combine the best of a homelike atmosphere with sophisticated in-room medical equipment and a highly trained, caring staff.
While safety is our main concern, we also have worked hard to make these rooms as comfortable and pleasant as possible. You will notice they are bigger than average hospital rooms and provide many of the comforts of home.
